Is the SafeDistance solution GDPR compliant?

Yes. The SafeDistance Portal is a special version of ClearDigital's WMW-Hub platform, and has a DPIA assessment report available. DPIA stands for "Data Protection Impact Assessment". Article 27 GDPR states that the Controller should perform a DPIA when “the processing is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons”.

This DPIA assessment does not only expose any potential risks on privacy (GDPR), but also other domains:

  • Data subject rights
  • GDPR principles
  • Accountability
  • Technical measures
  • Organizational measures
  • 3rd parties

Please find the DPIA assessment below:
